AquaSol Hosts First HDD Mud School with Wilcorp Construction & Environmental

AquaSol recently hosted its first official Mud School in partnership with Wilcorp Construction & Environmental in Toccoa, Georgia, marking an important milestone in the company’s commitment to customer education and field-focused technical support.

The training session brought AquaSol’s technical team directly to the field to work alongside Wilcorp’s crews, focusing on horizontal directional drilling (HDD) mud fundamentals, including fluid-loss control, rheology management, hole cleaning, and practical troubleshooting. The hands-on format allowed for open discussion around real-world drilling challenges and how starch-based drilling additives can be used to improve performance while supporting more environmentally responsible operations.

The event was made possible through the support of Pioneer One, one of AquaSol’s trusted distributor partners, whose sponsorship helped ensure a productive and collaborative training experience. Strong distributor relationships like this play a critical role in delivering technical value and responsive service to contractors in the field.

Mud Schools are a core part of AquaSol’s approach to business, providing education, sharing expertise, and building long-term partnerships. Rather than simply supplying products, AquaSol works side by side with customers to help them drill more efficiently, reduce risk, and get the most out of their drilling fluid systems.

This first Mud School represents just the beginning, as AquaSol continues to expand its training and education efforts across both HDD and oil & gas markets.
